April 2026
Today, with the support of Umverteilen, EcoSisters installed a rainwater harvesting tank in Ogur Sub-county.
This tank will help families in nearby settlement clusters access water more easily, especially during times of need.
We are excited to continue this work, with two more tanks planned for Aromo Sub-county and Boroboro in Lira District.
Our heartfelt thanks to Umverteilen for standing with us and making this possible.
The women of Ogur are planting fruit trees, a beautiful symbol of hope, care, and resilience. Each tree planted is a promise of shade, food, and a greener future for the community.
We are deeply grateful to Umverteilen for this partnership, and to every hand helping life grow.
Through Ecosisters, we are training women and youth in climate resilience, safe water management, reproductive health, STD prevention, contraception, and community leadership.
For us, this is more than training. It is about restoring dignity, protecting health, building confidence, and giving women the power to lead change in their own communities.
